​The Role of the Cyber Resilience Act

Although companies have control over the security measures in their own network, it often remains unclear what security precautions the manufacturer has taken with the products used. Product security is an essential component of a holistic security concept. The EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) addresses this gap by introducing standardised requirements for vulnerability management and thus closing existing regulatory gaps.
What is new is that manufacturers of digital products will have to implement ‘security by design’ in future. These measures support companies in securing their systems and promote security along the entire supply chain.
